Moon Today
ALL SIGNS MOON ALERT: We have the all-clear today to shop (whether you spend $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The moon is in Virgo.
ARIES (March 21-April 19): Basically, this is a good day for work, and it’s also a good day in general because you feel better. You’re more optimistic and even healthier. The only downside is you might eat too much today. Remember the advice of Miss Piggy: Never eat more than you can lift.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): This is a gentle, easygoing, fun-loving day. It’s a good day to kick back and relax. Even if you have to work, treat yourself to a nice lunch. Meet someone at the end of the day for a drink or a coffee. Enjoy playful activities with children. Sports, the arts and spas are favored.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Today favors real estate deals and anything to do with home, family and your domestic situation. Family conversations will be optimistic and positive. You might have the use of something that someone else owns. People are helpful and supportive to you today, especially at home.
CANCER (June 21-July 22): This is a feel-good day. Relations with partners and close friends are friendly and upbeat. You’ll enjoy shopping, wheeling and dealing, negotiating, teaching, acting and anything to do with sales and marketing. You can bring it all together. “Once more from the top!”
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): You’ve been spending a lot lately, which is why you’re been feeling broke. A bit of logic? Today, you’re feeling flush either because you’re pleased with your earnings or you are once again spending. It’s a day for business and commerce in general. Ka-ching!
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Things are looking good for you today. The moon is in your sign, which brings you a little bit of extra good luck. It also makes you a bit more emotional than usual. However, it’s making a lovely aspect to moneybags Jupiter. You feel openhanded, generous and kinda happy-go-lucky.
LIbrA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): It’s easy to have a warm feeling in your tummy today. Work quietly but steadily at whatever you’re interested in. Solitude in beautiful surroundings will please you. You feel relatively content and happy with your world.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Conversations with friends and groups are particularly upbeat and enjoyable today. You might get together with others to discuss the well-being of the world or specific groups that need attention. People are interested to hear what you have to say. It’s a feel-good day.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Quite likely, you’ll call attention to yourself for some reason today. However, it will be a good thing. People will view you in very positive terms. They might see you as breezy, friendly, upbeat and generous. (Which, of course, you are.) It’s a good day to impress the head honcho.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Travel plans look optimistic! Matters related to publishing, the media, education, medicine and the law are similarly looking good. Today, you feel you can conquer the world; well, at least a three-block radius in your own neighborhood. Sign up for a course or explore getting extra learning in some area.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): You can benefit from others today. People might give you things or let you use what they own. It’s a good day to divide something with someone or discuss shared property. It’s also a good day to borrow things or go for a loan.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Relations are warm and friendly with partners and close friends. Get out and schmooze today. You’re in fine form, and people think the best of you. You might want to buy some boots to survive the weather. Put your best foot forward!
IF FEB. 21 IS YOUR BIRTHDAY: Actress Ellen Page (1987) shares your birthday today. You’re a sensitive person. You pick and choose your friends carefully because basically you’re private. It takes you a while to trust someone, but when you do, you’re emotionally sensitive and open. Partnerships are important to you. You’re very perceptive about others and seek a mutual appreciation with someone. You value honesty. The year ahead is wonderfully social and lovely for partnerships.

I dugg it for the title. They set us up the bomb.
Are you joking me? A special need does not constitute being on a SPORTS team.
to US?! Not so quickly! US did not “land” there - all that was a fake! :)))
For great justice
Finders Keepers.
Bizarre shit guys. The local reaction has been kinda overwhelming.
well… at least it didn’t crash into like their mars probe
Dugg for the title.
Exactly! I’d say it’s a search, and requires a warrant. The only reason they can do them to people in the workforce, is by having you waive your rights in order to gain employment.
It’s nice to see something positive every once in a while. Go Washington!
This is an excellent piece, and I think it brings up an important point: factual knowledge, although the historical measure of education, is far less important than analytical ability and depth of understanding. This reminds me of an article on FizzBuzz (the common test to weed out programmers who have never written a line of code in their lives): http://blog.labnotes.org/2007/03/02/learning-from-fizzbuzz-the-developer-pysche-and-code-reuseIf the information is stored somewhere, and you know how to find it, why take up space in your head with it? The internet makes things easier for us by acting as offboard brains. In most cases, it’s enough for me to skim an article and get the gist of it. Just doing so allows me to make connections between that material and others, to come up with hypotheses that use it as a premise, and to mention it in conversation as something of interest. It works because I know that I can come back to the article if I need more detail, in a matter of minutes. The bottom line is, the internet is a tool to free people from the burden of irrelevant knowledge. We need to recognize that the standard is no longer how many dates of historic battles one can name, but rather the ability to analyze and explain.
The Canadian military called their operation “Exercise Frozen Beaver”. I’m not sure what joke to open with on that one.
