Bayou City Art Festival this weekend
Get ready for some fun outdoors. The Bayou City Art Festival kicks off Friday, March 28 and runs through Sunday, March 30.
The event will take place in Memorial Park and it features 300 artists from around the country and the world, plus wine cafés, an interactive Creative Zone for children, restaurants, Broadway in Houston’s Broadway Café and a performing arts stage with on-going multicultural musical and dance entertainment.
There will be something to do for everyone. Art lovers can indulge their eyes with artwork from 19 different media formats. There will also be musical performances ranging from Mariachi to Reggae.
It’s open all three days from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission for adults is $10 and it’s free for children 12 and under.
There is no public parking in Memorial Park, but there will be free shuttle service in several locations.
Over the past 37 years the Bayou City Art Festival has raised more than $2.4 million for local charities.

,*they’re*morons*.*
There are no references…I think all you angry people may have been had.
yeah their such morans
I don’t deny that Apple’s a successful company. Typically the holy wars concern personal computers, so I consider Apple’s success in music a red herring.I don’t buy the marketshare numbers from Apple’s analyst. Find me similar numbers from an independent analyst and I’ll consider them. And, Apple’s market cap is nearly 3x Dell’s and about 1/2 MSFT despite having much higher operating costs (ie., they make stuff).AAPL has a P/E of 33.25, more than twice Dell’s 14.99. http://finance.yahoo.com/q/co?s=aaplAAPL’s one of “the four horsemen” (AAPL, GOOG, RIMM and AMZN), momentum stocks which are notorious for loads of speculation. I expect AAPL to crater further once their P/E comes into line with the rest of the tech sector. Also, the consumer-lead recession bodes ill for Apple’s future earnings. However, that has nothing to do with Macs
I wonder if they take to court what would happen. I’ll laugh when Apple lose the right to use the apple logo.
While I don’t disagree with your second point, I do question your first statement. How, exactly, is Apple “losing” but still claiming victory?
It’s funny how nowhere in the bible does it mention that the forbidden fruit is an apple.Apples don’t even exist in the middle east. The fruit was more likely a fig or pomegranate.
I said losing. I didnt say on every damn front.
Apple is just as pathetic as Metallica…
